The City of Oslo would like elderly care of high quality where all good forces are put to use, and this also includes services from private and non-profit suppliers. Recently, the ban on competitive tendering for nursing homes was lifted. Currently the process to clarify which nursing homes that are suitable to be supplied by private and non-profit suppliers have started. Parallel to this work, we would like to invite to a conference so that we can inform possible suppliers about the process and the way forward, and get input on future procurement documents. It is important for the City to gain insight into what the market sees as success criteria and challenges for providing a good service with such a competitive tender. Furthermore, the municipality wants to facilitate innovation in the services. We therefore want broad involvement. Based on this we would like to invite to a supplier conference in the Town Hall ́s conference centre - Meeting room 6 (Entrance from the sea side) Wednesday 17 January 2024, 13:00 -15:00. We request registration on who will meet from you by Tuesday 9 January 2024 at the latest. Due to space reasons, participation is to be limited to 2 persons from each organization. The City of Oslo will not cover any travel and living expenses for participants.
