MITA is issuing this CFT for the provision of a GPG services in order to continue its success in facilitating payment services to Government and to be able to support the objectives of the Digital Agenda vision for 2014-2020. The key objectives of this tender is for MITA to procure for Government a state-of-the art GPG service that is scalable, secure, open-standard based and flexible, and one which will lead Government into the future. In this respect, the Government is looking for highly skilled and committed suppliers, with a proven track record to provide this service to the Government of Malta. MITA is requesting a total Payment Gateway service to the Government which requires components that replicate the existing GPG application programming interface (API) to eliminate the need of any infrastructure interface changes to existing merchant websites. MITA’s goal is that applications consuming the current GPG service require no code changes to connect to the GPG service procured through this CFT.
