The successful tenderer will be required to provide cleaning services at Ysgol Y Preseli.The cleaning contract being offered will commence on 1.4.2015 for an initial period of 3 years, concluding on 31.3.2018. This is the first time this cleaning contract has been subjected to a competitive tender process.This contract will be fixed price in nature with the successful contractor also guaranteeing both the number of input hours to the contract and the quality of cleaning provision.We are seeking a suitably experienced contractor who has current experience of working within the secondary school or HE / FE market place, ideally with a strong operational base within the Pembroke area, thus allowing for both adequate contract support and operational flexibility that is to be delivered to support the contract as and when required moving forwards into this contract term.The scope of the contract covers all cleaning provision at Preseli School. T he successful tenderer will be expected to deliver a concise and detailed method of management reporting at the end of each month, thus updating the senior management team within the School on the contract performance.The projected cost of cleaning for the current year is circa 82 500 GBP, however it is believed that through equipment and cleaning material innovation and the effective recruitment, training and supervision of cleaning staff there is opportunity for improvement.
