OMV PETROM S.A. (further designated as “OMV Petrom" or alternatively “Contracting Entity") part of the OMV AG Group (hereinafter designated as “OMV") is conducting a Market Consultation to request input from contractor market with respect to the provision of onshore drilling services using an automated rig (hereinafter identified as “RigUP") in the oil and gas fields located onshore Romania. This inquiry is a part of the OMV Petrom preparatory activities necessary to evaluate the technical and economic conditions for the project. OMV Petrom shall be entitled, but not obliged to initiate an awarding procedure under this Market Consultation and no economic operator shall be entitled to request the conclusion of any framework agreement in this respect. Therefore, this market consultation does not constitute, imply or give rise to any framework agreement. For the upcoming drilling campaigns, OMV Petrom is looking for a compact / modular drilling rig with a static hook load capacity for 120 – 150 MT (metric tons). The drilling rig shall be working as an integrated part of OMV`s initiative to automate the Well Delivery Process, aiming at increasing safety and performance while optimizing associated costs. OMV Petrom contemplates the option of, if materialized, award a long term commitment framework agreement. In line with OMV`s current digitalization programs, the rig shall operate with state-of-the-art technology that facilitates automated drill-pipe handling, automated drill pipe connection. This Market Consultation requests submission of information in the form and with the content further detailed, by interested economic operators with proven experience and capability related to the questions contained in attachments. Respondents are requested to provide the following documentation as deliverables for this Market Consultation: 5.1 Completed Market Consultation Response Template (Form) 5.2 A PowerPoint package (or equivalent) including responses to Para §2 and §3 herein, as well as any other substantiation to this Market Consultation deemed to be communicated
