Viken county shall be split to Akershus, Buskerud and Østfold counties, starting 01.01.2024. The dental health service in Akershus will consist of 3 areas, Buskerud and Østfold will not be divided into areas. In addition there will be the dental health service ́s competence centre (TkØ). In total there will be approx. 56 dental clinics divided between different sizes and capacity from 1-3 treatment rooms (small clinic), 4-7 treatment rooms (medium clinic) and 8-20 treatment rooms (large clinic). Several sixth form colleges require service on dental technical equipment etc. Currently there are three schools, one in each new county:Afeekoff sixth form college, Åssiden sixth form college and Sandvika sixth form college. The scope of the equipment that requires service will be reduced over time as the existing framework agreement for the procurement of dental equipment includes a service agreement for equipment ordered on the mentioned framework agreement. The overview of the contract is subject to change due to renovation and construction of new dental clinics in the contract period. Viken county has carried out a market survey where it was revealed that there is only one tenderer per area who can deliver service, operations and maintenance in accordance with the needs. The equipment for which we procure service has the accompanying certification schemes for carrying out service. The areas for which a contract will be signed are: Part 1: PlanMeca depot – Plandent AS Part 2: Heca and KaVo depot – Dental Sør AS Viken County would like, with this intention notice, to inform the market of our intention to enter into a contract, as the terms in PPR § 13-4 B) no. 3 are deemed to be fulfilled. The agreement period is two years from contract signing. After that the contracting authority has the unilateral right to extend the contract on verbatim terms for up to 2 years (1+1 year). After the first year the contracting authority has a unilateral right to terminate the contract with 6 months notice. The contract is estimated to have a total value of NOK 18.5 million excluding VAT per annum.
