Stortinget's administration maintains and develops buildings with a combined area of 68 000 m². In addition, it owns commuter residences (10 000 m²), mainly two and three room apartments in Oslo. The interior architect and architect services will mainly be used in projects connected to named buildings, such as Stortinget's building in Karl Johansgate 22, Prinsensgate 26, Akersgata 18 and 20 (leased premises) and 21, Stortingsgata 6 (leased premises), Nedre Vollgate 18 and 20, Tollbugata. 31 and in the commuter residences.Each year the Stortinget's administration (hereunder called the Contracting Authority) implements a series of construction and rehabilitation projects in relation to the Stortinget's buildings. In this regard, a contract will be signed with 1 tenderer for interior architect services, landscape architect services and architect services to assist the Contracting Authority with implementation of the projects. It may also be necessary to provide project management for minor assignments, at the discretion of the Contracting Authority.A large number of the buildings are listed, and building and rehabilitation works in connection to these buildings will occur according to the antiquarian guidelines and in co-operation with Riksantikvaren (The Directorate for Cultural Heritage). The service provider should have relevant expertise and experience in the field.The individual assignments will vary in size and content, and will be of short and long duration. Assignments may be awarded in all phases of a project. Please note that a significant amount of the construction work will occur in the assembly free period, i.e. in the period from 20 June up to and including 30 September each year.The tenderer shall in a comprehensive manner cover the Contracting Authority's need for interior architect services, landscape architect services and architect services for the named buildings. A more detailed description of the assignments related to the individual services will be given in Annex 1.
