The entity will develop, manage, operate and maintain the following leisure facilities (‘the LeisureFacilities’):1. Sunderland Aquatic Centre, which is a sports facility that includes a 50 metre indoor pool, a 25 metre diving pool (diving boards at 1 m, 3 m and 5 m), 2 exercise studios and a Wellness Centre and facilities to host national and regional competitions;2. Silksworth Sports Complex, which is a sports facility that includes one 165 m dry ski slope along with 2 nursery slopes, a fishing lake, athletics track, synthetic football pitches (currently closed) and a wheeled sportspark;3. Silksworth Tennis Centre, Community Pool and Wellness Centre, which is a sports centre which includes 8 indoor tennis courts, 10 outdoor tennis courts, a 25 metre pool, a Wellness Centre, indoor soft play area, cafeteria, sensory room and an outdoor adventure play area;4. Washington Leisure Centre — the current facility includes a 25 metre pool with aqua slide, 8 court sports hall, 2 squash courts, sauna and steam room,exercise studio, meeting rooms and a Wellness Centre. The site is currently subject to redevelopment and a new replacement facility is due to open in approximately May 2015 when the existing facility will close. The new facility will include a Wellness Centre expanded from 40 stations to 100 stations, the swimming pool will see an additional aqua slide. In addition, new football facilities with 6 new 3G floodlit outdoor pitches will also be provided;5. Houghton Sports Complex, which is a sports centre that includes a Wellness Centre, 4 court sports hall, outdoor artificial football pitch, wheeled sports park, 6 rink indoor bowls facility, exercise studio, meeting rooms and adjoining the centre is a Welfare Hall used to stage events;6. Seaburn Leisure Centre, which is a sports facility that includes an 8 court sports hall, a Wellness Centre and exercise studio and large bookable event space at entrance;7. Bunny Hill Wellness Centre, which is a sports facility that includes a Wellness Centre which is situated within the Sunderland Customer Services Centre;8. Hetton Community Pool and Wellness Centre which is a sports facility that includes a 25 metre pool, learner pool, sauna and steam room, Wellness Centre and multi purpose activity room;9. Raich Carter Sports Centre, which is a sports facility that includes a 25 metre pool with moveable floor, a Wellness Centre, sports hall, artificial turf football pitch (full size), cafeteria and an IT suite.
