The Council require an LPS 1048 Level 3 or 4 Approved Sprinkler Contractor to maintain the Sprinkler systems (19 no Commercial and 164 no and Residential systems), 21 no Dry Risers, 2 no Hydrant systems, 2 no FM 200, 2 no Ansul, 6 no Smoke Vents and 13 no Fire Curtains/shutters installed in their buildings in a safe, satisfactory, reliable and efficient operating condition to maintain safe conditions for building users and to ensure the Council complies with it's duties under Health and Safety Legislation, to the properties and equipment listed in the Pricing Section of the Tender Document.The contract includes the provision of a 24/7 call out with a 1.5 hour site attendance response time for critical emergencies, 4 hour for rapid response repairs and 24 hour for routine repairs,with a first time fix where possible and where not possible a maximum 48 hour fix time to restore to fully operational service.Fife Council is under no obligation to award any contracts under this framework agreement with the highest scoring providers,in so far as there is a sufficient number of tenders who satisfy the criteria and submit admissible tenders which meet the award criteria.
