The Council is seeking quotations to provide Property Service Agent duties for the DCO application to:— Undertake the land referencing as required by the Council including undertaking a thorough search of persons or bodies who have an interest in property which is potentially affected by the scheme.— Investigate existing historical access points and crossings and ways to extinguish their rights of access and crossing.— Gain access to any required third party land for the purpose of surveys and ground investigations.— Assist the DCO Legal Team with negotiating acquisitions of land and other interests.— Produce documents for the Development Consent Order application including the Book of Reference, and other documents as directed by the the DCO Legal Team. Handling of compensation claims and valuation assessments.— Land valuing services for third parties and scheme partners, namely Bristol City, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath and North East Somerset Councils (although no land requirements are identified in South Gloucestershire or Bath and North East Somerset to date).— Acting as expert witness at public inquiry(ies) or valuation tribunal(s).— Preparation of associated reports, plans and attendance at project and other meetings.— Assist the Project Team in identifying land to be utilised temporarily for construction and negotiate rights and associated compensation.— Assist the Project Team with any land required for the purposes of environmental mitigation and negotiate rights, purchasing and associated compensation.
