The services that will be part of the tender are split into lots:Lot 1 — General waste including: cardboard, paper, dry mixed recycling, glass, plastic, cans, textiles, wood (including pallets), books, green waste, CDs, other packaging (including Tetrapak) and food waste including organic and biodegradable food waste;Lot 2 — Hazardous waste including batteries, oil and water mixture, chemicals (various), fuel, ash from our biomass boilers, ceramics wastes, paints, pesticides, oils and oily rags;Lot 3 — Confidential waste including waste that contains sensitive information or data which the University must have specially treated to ensure secure destruction and disposal, or recovery such as confidential paper waste, CDs, DVDs, videos and confidential hardware that must be securely destroyed;Lot 4 — WEEE IT waste including: computers, monitors, printers, servers, faxes, scanners, keyboards, mice, telecoms equipment, mobile devices, cables, and AV equipment including projectors, screens, video and sound recording equipment;Lot 5 — WEEE non IT waste including: fridges, freezers, fluorescent tubes etc.;Lot 6 — Student accommodation waste including: general household refuse including: food waste, cardboard, glass, plastic, paper and cans. May also include bulk materials such as residential furniture, chairs, tables, desks, and mattresses.
