NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde are currently developing a New Adult and Children's Hospital on the campus of the Southern General Hospital in South Glasgow. The construction programme is planned for completion in February 2015.As part of the development the Board have two individual requirements for the following equipment:1. Main Pharmacy Department Automation / Robotic System.The required equipment will be used in the dispensing of medicines, automated recording of stock from a centralised distribution centre. There will be a requirement to interface any proposed equipment with the current Pharmacy System Ascribe V10. The ability to supply and install in a temporary location prior to 2015 and subsequent transfer to new site within a two day period are options that may be explored.2. Emergency Department Automation / Robotic System.The required equipment will be used for the dispensing of medicines, automated recording of stock from a centralised distribution centre. There will be a requirement to interface any proposed equipment with the current Pharmacy System Ascribe V10, Patient Administration System (Trakcare). This unit will act as the emergency out of hours location for the Hospitals.Expressions of interest for either lot 1 or lot 2 or lot 1 and 2 are requested from suitably qualified suppliers.
