Horten Medisinske senter KF shall construct 50 new sheltered accommodation flats. 32 of these flats are located in the existing old Horten hospital on the 3 , 4 and 5 floor. Demolition work in the old hospital started April 2015, so that the general contractor shall be able to have good progress and predictability in his work. The building has a history of alterations every approx. 10 year from 1952. The building must be inspected thoroughly before a tender is submitted. The project's start is set for approx. 14.9.2015 and it shall be completed by 14.12.2016. The area is regulated and a framework application has been submitted. The assignment shall be carried out in accordance with a NS8405 contract as a general contract, there is a separate NS3420 description for the alteration project. The description also includes outdoor work and water and sewage for both the projects. Alterations to the 1 floor shall be carried out, with Vestfold Hospital as the tenant, this work could be ordered in accordance with unit prices given in the tender.During the construction project the emergency doctor surgery and acute help sections shall be in operation on the 2 floor, as well as the SIV offices on the 1 floor and the dentists on the 3 floor. The SIV/DPS offices will also be in operation on the 5 floor until the premises are ready on the 1 floor. The work on the 1 floor is critical for progress and has, for this reason, a day fine.A new building is planned with 18 flats. This work is described in a separate description which only includes the actual new building, not the water and sewage installations and outdoor work below the old hospital. Demolition work is currently being carried out, this will be completed by the start of the main contract.
