Contract 2 — Sighthill TRA Infrastructure is a Design & Build Contract which will require the appointment of a Contractor to develop a detailed design for this particular contract (accept where stated otherwise) and requires the Contractor to develop a detailed design for the site allowing the scope of works to be implemented in full.The scope of works incorporates, but is not limited to:— Delivery of roads network and roads and street lighting (including intelligent) network, detailed design provided by GCC;— Earthworks to realise a serviced development platforms;— Delivery of and integrated designs for key services infrastructure: district heating, drainage (foul and SUDs), utilities (gas, power, comms water). To deliver strategic, distributor and local services assets;— Provide for integrated solutions to allow successful construction of services platforms (serviced by the above mentioned key services);— Delivery of soft and hard landscape proposals;— Demolition of buildings and structures;— Localised remediation — asbestos materials from demolitions, deal with contamination ‘unknowns' encountered during works;— Ecological mitigation where required;— Statutory and non-statutory approvals in support of detailed designs / construction as required.Note: The buyer is using PCS-Tender to carry out this procurement process.
