The Contracting Entity is undertaking a competitive tender process to establish a multi supplier framework agreement that
will provision for all IT infrastructure and related services across Networks Ireland, its subsidiaries and business units.
It is the intention to appoint service providers to support the delivery of these requirements in the six area referenced
below, each of which will constitute a separate lot Lot 1 – Enterprise Class Servers Lot 2 – Security Infrastructure Lot 3
– Desktop Devices Lot 4 – Mobile Devices Lot 5 – Network Infrastructure The framework agreement will be established for a
term of five (5) years with the option to extend for a further period of up to three (3) year at the sole discretion of Gas
Networks Ireland. Maximum of four (4) applicants per lot will be invited to tender for ITT stage, where the minimum requirements
are demonstrated. Lot 1 – Enterprise Class Servers/ Storage Infrastructure: Scope of service is the provision of Enterprise
Class Servers, storage infrastructure and ancillary services to Gas Networks Ireland including but not limited to implementation,
consultancy, maintenance and licensing, as well as associated products such as Racks, KVM's, Memory, Hard Drives, Input devices,
storage devices, disks, disk shelves, fabric switches, GBICs and cabling. etc. The services should include planning, configuration
and testing through proven methodologies and implementation techniques Lot 2 – Security Infrastructure: Scope of service is
the provision of Security Infrastructure and ancillary services to Gas Networks Ireland including but not limited to implementation,
consultancy, maintenance and licensing, as well as associated products such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems and
Intrusion Prevention. The services should include planning, configuration and testing through proven methodologies and implementation
techniques. Lot 3 – Desktop Devices: Scope of service is the provision of Desktop Devices and ancillary services to Gas Networks
Ireland including but not limited to implementation, consultancy, maintenance, licensing as well as associated products such
as Laptops, PC’s and Thin Clients. The service will also include industry best practices to optimise the management of laptop
and desktop devices. This may include but not limited to application packaging to image and patch management. Lot 4 – Mobile
Devices: Scope of service is the provision of Mobile Devices and ancillary services to Gas Networks Ireland including but
not limited to implementation, consultancy, maintenance, licensing as well as associated products such as Mobile Handsets,
Mobile Voice and Data Communications Services, Mobile Devices and Tablet devices. This lot also includes the provision of
field force mobile devices and solutions and could include the delivery of services such as device preparation and provisioning,
device security, device management and support, upgrade and replacement of these mobile devices and solutions. Lot 5 – Network
Infrastructure: The expected scope of service is the provision of Network Infrastructure and ancillary services to Gas Networks
Ireland including but not limited to implementation, consultancy, maintenance, licensing as well as associated products such
as LAN Switches, POE Switches, Routers, Wireless Connectivity, Network Modules and Lines Cards. The services should include
planning, configuration and testing through proven methodologies and implementation techniques. The purpose of this application
is to identify suppliers that successfully meet the criteria set out in the tender document and in doing so, establishing
their suitability for the framework. Suppliers tendering for multiple lots will be assessed on a lot-by-lot basis whereby
the selection criteria and scoring set out in SECTION 5 of the PQQ will be consistent across each independent lot.
